VEHA Delegation Attends International Housekeeping Conference in Malaysia
At the invitation of the President of the Malaysian Housekeeping Association, the Vietnam Executive Housekeeper Association (VEHA), led by Mr. Quang Nguyen – Chairman of VEHA, along with Vice Chairman Mr. Tran Duc and Mr. Do Ba Cong, and Executive Committee members Mr. Tran Van Trung and Ms. Le Thuy Lien, attended the "International Hospitality Housekeeping & Laundry Summit Malaysia 2025" held on July 16, 2025, at the Courtyard by Marriott Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This industry-focused event spotlighted not only the latest technological solutions and trends in modern Housekeeping & Laundry operations but also fostered cross-border professional collaboration within the hospitality housekeeping sector across the region. The summit welcomed over 300 delegates from Malaysia, alongside representatives of housekeeping associations from ASEAN countries such as Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, as well as a representative from the Maldives.

In addition to participating in the conference's professional sessions, the VEHA delegation conducted field visits to several outstanding hotels in Kuala Lumpur. These visits provided valuable insights into operational models, service standards, and the implementation of advanced technologies at leading establishments in the region.
The delegation also had the opportunity to visit iconic landmarks including The Exchange 106 and the Petronas Twin Towers – symbols of national pride and architectural distinction in Malaysia.

This business trip marked not only a professional success but also a significant step forward in strengthening the cooperative relationship between VEHA and MAHIR, laying the groundwork for future training initiatives and knowledge exchange across the region. Furthermore, it provided VEHA a valuable opportunity to expand its network with the ASEAN Housekeeping Association, affirming Vietnam’s positive contributions to the regional hospitality housekeeping industry and enhancing the international standing of Vietnam’s executive housekeeping profession.
