VEHA Organizes Training Course on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Application – A New Step in Hotel Housekeeping Management
On September 20 in Phan Thiet City, the Vietnam Executive Housekeepers Association (VEHA) held a training program with the theme “AI Application for Housekeeping Management”, attracting the participation of numerous members from the Southern region.

The event took place as Vietnam’s tourism industry is striving to achieve ambitious goals set out in Resolution No. 226/NQ-CP dated August 5, 2025 by the Government: welcoming at least 25 million international visitors and 150 million domestic tourists in 2025, and moving towards 35 million international arrivals by 2030.
Delivering the opening remarks, Mr. Nguyễn Quang – Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Hotel Association and Chairman of VEHA – emphasized: “In the digital era, Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer the future – it has already developed strongly and spread across every aspect of life, especially in the hospitality industry. Tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, and Gamma are not just trends – they are powerful assistants that help us work more effectively, creatively, and professionally. The proactive implementation of VEHA’s training programs today is a practical action to enhance the competence of Vietnamese housekeeping managers, improve the quality of housekeeping services nationwide, and contribute positively to the overall growth of Vietnam’s hospitality and tourism industry in the years ahead.”

The course was led by Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Ngọc – Head of the Housekeeping Department, Saigon Tourism College, and also one of VEHA’s founding members. With many years of experience in applying AI to housekeeping management and training, along with his practical and easy-to-understand teaching methods, he received high praise.
The training not only introduced participants to foundational knowledge of AI, but more importantly, aimed to help them apply AI tools directly into practice. The program highlighted its key message: “AI will not replace Housekeeping Manager – but it will replace those who do not know how to use it”

At the closing session, certificates were awarded to the participants.
The organizers also extended their sincere thanks to the following partners for their cooperation and significant contributions to the program’s success: Karcher Vietnam, Vietsolutions Group, A&J Textile Vietnam, Natural Cosmetics JSC, Blue Planet Company, Smart Appliances 21, Hoan My Company & 3M Partner, TM Grow Company, Dan&Dan Company, My Nguyen Company, Sun Laundry Company, and TTC Phan Thiet Hotel.
