On 11th March, the “Get on Ha Noi 2023” with the theme “Ha Noi - Come to love” took place at Dinh Tien Hoang pedestrian street (Ha Noi).

Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Ms. Dang Huong Giang, Director of Ha Noi Department of Tourism emphasised, the “Get on Ha Noi 2023” programmed is a commencing activities to kick start a series of exciting and attractive events, festivals, promotional programmes, and tourism promotion, such as: Ha Noi tourism festival, Tourism Gift Festival, Ha Noi Ao Dai Festival, Craft Village Tourism Festival,... These are activities to promote the image of Ha Noi tourism, spreading it widely, supporting businesses as well as attracting visitors to Ha Noi.

The “Get on Ha Noi 2023” was organised in the outdoor space at Dinh Tien Hoang pedestrian street (Ha Noi); lived via social networking platforms: Fanpage of Department of Tourism, Youtube of Ha Noi Department of Tourism.

With a series of over 50 events taking place this year, Ha Noi tourism is aiming to accomplish the goal of welcoming and serving more than 22 million visitor arrivals, including 3 million international visitor arrivals; Total tourist receipts will achieve VND 77 trillion in 2023.

According to Ha Noi Department of Tourism, in 2023, Ha Noi will focus on developing new and creative tourism products; paying attention to tourism environment, development of material and technical infrastructure of tourism, especially in tourist areas and spots, create a comfort zone to visitors when coming to Ha Noi; putting the development of MICE tourism, golf tourism… as priorities.

 

Inland river tourism routes along the Red River, West Lake, Dong Mo Lake... have been put on plan of development while associating with destinations for cultural tourism, heritage, agricultural tourism, experience tourism in districts, towns; In the near future, the Ben Bac - Bat Trang bus route will be operated.

2023 marks the second year of the Get on Ha Noi programme. This year, the main aim of the programme is to promote the image of Ha Noi as a “Safe - friendly - quality - attractive” destination.
